burial LOTs for the Muwaheddine Druze
Dear Canadian Druze Society of Ontario –
The CDSO - Ottawa Chapter has proudly taken on the following initiative after having received many queries from members as to why the society does not own any burial lots. After having extensively studied all of our options, we purchased eight burial lots for the amount of $12,000 at the Hope Cemetery on 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa, ON K1T 3W7.
These lots were not purchased for investment purposes. We have purchased them with the intention to serve our community members equitably.
Owning burial lots in Canada is a necessity, as it is in our country of origin, passed on to us from generation to generation. Those who do not own burial lots will likely encounter unpleasant surprises and uncertainty; therefore, it is crucial that we spare our families the burden of having to search for a site during a difficult time in mourning.
