kingston camping/picnic
Dear Canadian Druze Society of Ontario – Ottawa-Carleton Chapter Members
We are looking forward to spending a great time with you during our
camping night on The Loughborough Lake Holiday Park on Saturday August
23, 2008. The Loughborough Lake Holiday Park is located just north of Kingston, via Sydenham Road (8 Km North of Hwy 401/Kingston at Exit #613), on a pristine, spring fed, 23 mile long lake. For more details, please go to www.loughboroughlake.ca.
Our private site is located in the rectangular area in center-top on the map of the park picture below. The campground offers washrooms and showers for your convenience. We will have a large tarp to use in case of rain. IMPORTANT NOTE: camping fees will be covered by the community so all you need to do is to bring a tent and your adventurous spirit and join us for a night of singing around the fire! Ok, maybe you might need a few more things :) To help in your own organization, we have prepared the following list of suggested items that you might want to consider bringing with you:
tent, sleeping bag, playing cards, soccer ball, badminton, frisbee, dirbakeh, towel, shampoo, soap, swim trunks, sun bloc lotion, hat, change of clothes, sandals, moquito repellent, coolers, ice, BBQ, charcoal, lighter fluid, ligher/matches, flashlight/lantern
Let us know if you are interested in this activity at your earliest convenience, either by emailing us to reachus@druze.ca or by contacting one of: Bashar Bou-Diab, Kamal Harb, or Sayid Kaddage. Note that space is limited, so reserve your spot NOW. We need to know the number of adults and children that will be camping soon, so we can plan appropriately.
